This is my painting, Hockey Face Off. I wanted to convey the confrontation
of the players during a face off. I used contrast of color to create a sense of
confrontation. The back player is in dark values (gray scale). His dark mask
faces the viewer. The player in front has different hues (colors) and values. I chose a close up view that fills the support
and magnifies the 2 players on the picture plane.
