I hope to display my painting, Burpee Tomatoes, in my August art exhibit. I wanted to paint the warm color of the orange tomatoes. The cool green tomatoes were a wonderful temperature contrast. Orange and green are secondary colors. They are made with two primary colors (red and yellow; yellow and blue). I modeled my tomatoes with warm light and a cooler shadow.
