Go to http://www.ebay.com or http://www.ebay.ca and search "babad".Think of light as colour. Light has the temperature of the sunlight, i.e. warm. Light will mix with the local colour of your object. When painting a red apple, add yellow and orange with the red. This will add light and warmth. Add white. I like to add white on the canvas as it can make your colours look like chalk.
