I love
sketching, particularly
faces. Like most
artists, I continue to learn and sketch from works of the
masters. This male head is after
Van Dyck. I keep a sketchbook and pencil in my purse and sketch the wonderful faces of people around me. I live near a mall by the
art college. The students
express themselves in their faces and clothes. The spiky hair styles; the piercings; the colourful and different clothes all inspire me.
Drawing also maintains my eye and hand coordination.
