The rough water in this abstraction runs down; around the rocks to the lake and meets the sky at the horizon line. This is mainly a cool coloured painting with some pink colour for contrast. I have added some purple hue to the darker clouds and water. On top of the painting, I added transparent layers of heavy rain and wind. I feel damp, cold and isolated when I stare at the painting. Is this because I know of the added layers? What do you feel when you gaze at this painting? This is a digital painting using virtual oil paint with traditional painting techniques on texture.
